Ordered! I did so from the Press and just for the record I wasn’t going to use the discount code but $9 shipping is absolute robbery so I hope you still get your full royalty for my purchase! (Refuse to use Amazon.) Very much looking forward to reading and studying your text.

I agree that two-party systems are too polarizing. Have you checked out Fair Vote Canada? https://www.fairvote.ca/

I have thought for a long time that PR would go a long way towards addressing the political divides and separatist movements in Canada. Trudeau promised electoral reform and then backed away from it once in office. I've never been so frustrated with a politician.

From what I understand from talk show host Thom Hartmann, our constitution will have to be changed to have proportional representation, however that’s not the case with instant runoff elections,

Yup, the instant runoff is much more realistic.

But ideally, I do think a big constitutional amendment will help, even just for reforming the presidency (Electoral College etc.). I’d even get rid of the presidency all together.

Getting rid of the presidency is a great idea for democracy.

I just went into a national tire store in Alabama and I mentioned how people in Alabama pay almost 10 percent on food. The man snapped back at me and said that they are willing to get taxes from you some how are another in any state.

I guess the man did not realize that tax on food is a regressive tax. And it’s amazing to me that if I bring up a subject like this that it seems to get on a right wingers nerves along with bringing up the subject of electric cars solar. Panels or wind mills.

Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think people would make political issues out of these things. And I for got to mention vaccines.

This is 2025 and it’s so easy to get information yet so many people rather trust talk show host. Or face book.

You can bet I will not be buying tires from this man.
